What can you do to help protect innocent animals?

Deputy Dwight Sloan Deputy Dwight Sloan of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to protecting the rights of animals and bringing those who commit crimes against them to justice. He has spearheaded the construction of this rescue barn and works tirelessly to see the vision become reality.
Deputy Sloan’s overwhelming dedication was demonstrated in a recent case involving a family horse, Champ, who was gunned down in his own pasture. Not only did Deputy Sloan help raise a $10,000 reward, he pulled together a team of specialists to help solve this case. Because of these efforts, Champ’s killer was arrested and currently awaits trial. |
