Below is a listing of lost dogs whose families need your help to get them home. If you have found a dog there's a chance that its owner has posted contact information here.
Please note that Greater Birmingham Humane Society does not have information about these dogs. This site is only offered as a tool for our constituents who need help in finding a lost pet. The Greater Birmingham Humane Society does not accept stray or found pets. Please contact your local animal control to verify that they do not have your pet.
All postings must be approved before being published. Please allow up to 24 hours for your story to be visible on our website.
Postings will be automatically unpublished after 28 days and ad posters will need to re-post their ad if necessary. Also, if you have reunited with a lost or found pet please contact us so we can remove your ad.
Warning! Sometimes unfriendly citizens use these types of websites to prey on people. GBHS urges you to use caution if you are contacted by someone claiming to have found your pet and asks you for a reward in exchange for the animal. This is a common con and should be reported to your local law enforcement. |

18 yr. Old male black lab missing from our yard on Nov.18th. We live on Hwy 1 in Shelby Co. between S.ShadesCrest & Hwy 13. He doesn't see well and is partially deaf. His name is Bear. Not wearing his collar. He's grey around his chin. Call 426-6144.
